Posterisan® Ointment is indicated for the local treatment of symptoms associated with hemorrhoids. It contains inactivated E.coli bacterial culture to stimulate immune response and hydrocortisone to reduce inflammation and itching.

Uses:

• Local treatment of internal and external hemorrhoids


• Relief of anal itching and inflammation


• Soothing of irritated perianal skin


• Supportive treatment after hemorrhoid surgery

Directions:

• Apply to clean anal area twice daily—morning and evening


• Preferably use after bowel movement


• Gently rub a small amount into the affected area


• For rectal use, apply with the included applicator

Ingredients:

Active ingredients: 166.70 mg standardized bacterial culture suspension (5.0 × 10⁸ E.coli, inactivated and preserved in 3.3 mg phenol), 2.50 mg hydrocortisone per 1 g of ointment

Excipients: lanolin, soft yellow paraffin
