Brufen® Rapid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), a propionic acid derivative that effectively inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins—the mediators of pain and inflammation. Ibuprofen exerts analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory effects, and also reversibly inhibits platelet aggregation.

Uses:

• Symptomatic relief of mild to moderate pain of various origins


• Headache and dental pain


• Painful menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhea)


• Accompanying symptoms of cold and feverish conditions

Directions:

• Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary to relieve symptoms.


• For adults and adolescents (≥ 12 years) weighing > 40 kg. Short-term use only.


• Take one 400 mg capsule orally, preferably during or after food; do not chew, swallow with water.


• If needed, repeat every 6 hours. Do not exceed 1 200 mg (3 capsules) per 24 hours.


• If symptoms worsen or persist for more than 3 days, consult a physician.
